I went to India's Clay Oven today. I had seen the outstanding reviews and so I thought I'd check it out for myself. When I arrived at 11:00 AM I was immediately greeted with a big smile by an older gentleman. A big smile from staff is always a good sign. After sitting down I ordered a plate of pakoras, some lamb vindalu, and some gobi paranthas. For drinks I ordered a mango lassie, and chai tea. First let me say that the tea was just perfect. It wasn't too sweet and yet it had great flavor. The lassie too was prepared well. It was tasty without it being doused in sugar. As for the pakoras, they were tasty, but I would have preferred the pieces to have been a little larger. As for the paranthas, they came to the table nice and hot and they were packed with flavor. The paranthas were large...so large in fact that I could have made a meal just off the paranthas. Now for the star of the meal....the lamb vindalu. First I'd like to say that the spice level I enjoy is extremely high, so I told the server to make it as spicy as he could. After making sure I understood that they used habanero Chiles (for which I smiled and told him that would be great) he replied "No problem sir" and came out later with my vindalu with rice. The vindalu looked great, but as they say the proof is in the eating. So after downing most of it in just minutes, I am happy to report that the vindalu was not only delicious, but it lived up to the spice level that I had desired. The vindalu was flavorful with large chunks of meat, well cooked potatoes, and just the right amount of a tomato-based sauce. Lastly, the amount of food I received was enough for me to take home and eat later that day as leftovers. The amount of food, the quality of food, and the price are enough for me to HIGHLY recommend India's Clay Oven.

Bring your crown because this is where you go to FEAST like royalty!! Everything is made from scratch, so it was no problem to accommodate dietary needs (we're vegan) and spice level. We got the tofu tikka masala, cauliflower/potatoes, malai kofta, bhaigan barta - would 100% re-order everything again. Words weren't even computing at some point because our tastebuds were all blissed out. Not to mention, the service was on point, we felt treated more like guests than customers. One last thing... not that we're experts, but this place has the best lighting design we have ever seen in a restaurant. It's a vibe as soon as you walk in!

You should definitely try this place! First, we ordered online and the pickup process was amazing! The food was packaged perfectly. Indian food can is saucy and there were no leak problems or mess anywhere. When we walked in the for the pickup they were placing everything in a bag and were apologetic even though it was perfect timing. Ordered chicken biryani that was very spicy. We also ordered chicken tandoori and naan. Everything was delicious. The chicken biryani had so much flavor but was much too spicy for me. I would definitely go back for this fresh food!
